The Bahraini team achieved the Arabian Gulf Cup title for the first time in their history, after defeating Saudi Arabia team 1-0, during the match that brought the two teams Sunday evening at "Abdullah bin Khalifa Stadium" in the Qatari capital, "Doha", in the final of the Arabian Gulf Cup championship "Gulf 24" ".

The Saudi team wasted the opportunity to advance in the first half, after Salman Al-Faraj missed a penalty kick in the 11th minute that was awarded to the star Salem Al-Dossary and carried out by Al-Faraj outside the goal.

Before the end of the first half, the Saudi team demanded another penalty kick after Hamdan fell inside the penalty area.

The Bahraini team will win the title of the Arabian Gulf Cup for the first time in their history, to write their name in the golden record of the Gulf Cup, and the failure of Saudi Arabia to win the title for the fourth time in its history.

Although Bahrain hosted the Gulf Cup championship events "4 times," Al-Ahmar was unable to take advantage of the land and public workers to win the title.

Kuwait is the most crowned team in the Gulf Cup with 10 titles, followed by Saudi Arabia, Iraq and Qatar with three titles, and the Emirates and Sultanate of Oman with two titles, while Yemen did not taste the crowning title.
