CAIRO – 13 June 2017: There were some unforgettable moments in the 2016/2017 Bundesliga season.

According to the Bundesliga’s official YouTube channel, here are some of the most memorable moments.

The beginning of the season saw a great start with RB Leipzig beating Borussia Dortmund 1-0, solidifying their position as the season’s underdogs. They continued performing well at the beginning of the season by beating Bayern Leverkusen 3-2.

Another unforgettable moment in the season was when TSG 1899 Hoffenheim was in third place after nine matches with their manager Julian Nagelsmann. The coach has been called baby Moutinho, in comparison to Coach Jose Mourinho who was also very successful at a young age.

In game week 26, Danish midfielder Thomas Joseph Delaney, German striker Mario Gomez Garcia, and Bayern Munich’s striker Robert Lewandowski were all able to score a hat trick on the same day.

In the Revierderby between Schalke and Borussia Dortmund, a Borussia Dortmund fan called Steffi sat with Schalke supporters. The match ended in a 1-1 draw.

Bundesliga newcomers RB Leipzig were able to secure a Champions League spot for next season; while Bayern Munich gained their fifth consecutive Bundesliga title

There was also an emotional moment at the end of the season when Bayern Munich’s Xabier Alonso Olano and Phillip Lahm announced their retirement.
