CAIRO - 27 November 2018: Barcelona are set to face their Uruguayan striker, Luis Suarez, for the next two weeks after the player suffered an injury during their 1-1 draw against Atletico Madrid on Saturday night at the Spanish League.

The player will miss the team trip to Netherlands to face PSV Eindhoven this week at UEFA Champions League and the club hopes the striker to be fit for the Catalan derby against Espanyol at the League on December 8.

"The Uruguayan will undergo stem cell treatment on an injury to his right knee, and will be out for two weeks." The club statement said.

Suarez joined Arthur Melo and Jasper Cillesen who will not be available for PSV clash.

On the other hand, Rafael Alcântara known as Rafinha, will undergo surgery to treat a ruptured left anterior cruciate ligament that will keep the player sidelined for the rest of the season.

Barcelona lost their League leadership after a draw against Atletico Madrid while Sevilla achieved a 1-0 victory at home to Real Valladolid on Sunday, moving one point clear of Barcelona.
