CAIRO – 18 December 2017: Raheem Sterling, Manchester City’`s winger, suffered a racist verbal and physical attackaggression hours before Manchester City's 4-1 victory over Tottenham (4-1) in the 18th round of the English Premier League, according to , 'The Telegraph'.

The incident occurred in the morning, when Sterling entered the training center for the pre-match training.

A personAn amateur was waiting for Sterling at the vehicles’ entrance, and when he saw the player, he insulted him, shouting "black."

Sterling got out of his car to confront the person, only to be kicked by his aggressor.
Fortunately, the incident had no serious physical effect on the winger, as Sterling had no problem to participatedispute in the clash against Tottenham, in which when he scored two goals.

Manchester City did not comment onconfirm the incident, but may be considering taking legal action against the aggressor.

Pep Guardiola also made no reference to this assault during the press conference after the match.
