CAIRO – 27 September 2017: Sporting Lisbon hosts Barcelona in José Alvalade Stadium in Lisbon at UEFA Champions League on Wednesday at 8:45 p.m. (Cairo time).
Barcelona shares first place in the group with Sporting Lisbon each having three points, as Barcelona defeated Juventus 3-0 while Sporting Lisbon won over Olympiacos in Greece 3-2.
It will be a special night for Sporting Lisbon defender, Jeremy Mathieu who will meet his ex teammates in Barcelona where he played for three years from 2014 till 2017 before joining Sporting Lisbon this summer.
Barcelona depends on a massive attacking line of Lionel Messi, Luis Suarez and Gerard Deulofeu, the three strikers will be supported with Barcelona midfielders, Andres Iniesta and Ivan Rakitic.
Sporting Lisbon manager, Jorje Jesus hopes that his wingers, Marcos Acuña, Gelson Martins, and Alan Ruiz will cause damage to Barcelona defense.
On the other hand, Juventus, 2017 UEFA Champions League runner up hopes to achieve their first victory in the group when they meet Olympiacos in Torino, Italy.
