CAIRO – 24 August 2017: Napoli’s winger Lorenzo Insigne spoke on August 23 about the recent transfer news linking him to a move to FC Barcelona.

Speaking to Mediaset Premium, Napoli’s star player Insigne told the press about whether or not he will stay with Napoli.

Insigne stated, “I thank you for the compliments, but I want to keep doing well with this shirt (Napoli’s kit) because I’ve always wanted it,” citing from Goal.

Insigne concluded, “Barcelona is the dream for everyone but for now I have the dream of Naples with me,” reporting from Goal.

FC Barcelona has been looking for a winger to replace Barcelona’s ex star player Neymar who joined Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) on August 11. Spanish Giants FC Barcelona are currently interested in several wingers like Liverpool’s star player Philippe Coutinho, Napoli’s winger Insigne and PSG’s winger Angel Di Maria.

Lorenzo Insigne played for Napoli since 2012/2013 football season scoring 55 goals and making 60 assists in 258 games with the Italian club.
