CAIRO – 6 August 2017: English club Tottenham Hotspurs defeated Italian champions Juventus 2-0 on Saturday in a friendly match held at Wembley Stadium in London.

English national team striker Harry Kane started the scoring with an early goal at the 11th minute of the game to finish the first half with the Hotspurs in the lead. Swedish Christian Eriksen strengthened Tottenham’s situation with the second goal at the 56th minute of the game after he received a great pass from the young talented Dele Alli, letting Eriksen find himself alone with Juventus goalkeeper Gianluigi Buffon.

Tottenham will start its Premier League matches for the first round against New Castle United, which recently joined to the PL from the second English division on August 13 at St James’ Park Stadium, the stadium of New Castle. On the same day, Juventus will play against Lazio in the final of the Italian Super Cup at Stadio Olimpico.
