CAIRO –14 July 2017: Barcelona forwards Neymar Jr. and Lionel Messi have asked the club’s board to speed up the signing of Tottenham Hotspur’s midfielder Dele Alli to join Barcelona squad in the next season.

Neymar and Messi asked Barcelona to pay attention to the team’s necessity of signing with Alli and pay any amount of money possible to join the English young talent because he is one of the best players to represent Barcelona in the next years, according to Diario Gol.

The 21-year-old center midfielder has won the best young player of the year award for two consecutive seasons (2015/2016 – 2016/2017).

Alli joined Tottenham Hotspur in 2015 from Milton Keynes Dons for €5 million ($5.7 million) and scored 32 goals from 96 appearances in various competitions with the Spurs, he played to the English national teams under 17, 18, 19 and 21 until the English national team coach Roy Hodgson has picked him to play in the first team on October 2015 to book since then his place among the national team players.

Alli scored 2 goals during from 19 appearances with England and he is one of the players to observe in the Russia 2018 World cup, according to Transfer Markt.
