CAIRO - 1 January 2018: With the new year come many new resolutions, every year we begin January with a resolution to try something new, do things better, do things differently. At the top of that list should be a desire to treat our health and our well being better than we have in the past, which is great news because 2018 brings us a whole new world of fitness trends that will make living healthier a much easier thing to do.

FUNCTIONAL TRAINING, GROUP TRAINING AND HIGH INTENSITY TRAINING

I am personally one of those individuals who need to be jumping around in the middle of people and getting my heart rate way up and sweating bullets to walk away feeling happy. Group training, Functional fitness and high intensity training are definitely for me. I enjoy working out in a way that makes me feel like I'll be able to gain strength and apply it in a useful way throughout my entire life. I like having a partner to workout with, finding new people to meet and training hard with and I like to feel like I am pushing my limits, every single day. If that sounds like you, then try to find a place where you can do that at. There are a lot of facilities around Egypt, such as Ignite, which offer all sorts of group classes for you to participate in.

PERSONAL TRAINING

If working out in large groups doesn't suit your personality nor your life, schedule then opt to find a great coach and start working with them one-on-one through personal training sessions. Your personal trainer will help map out your goals with you and help you make realistic steps for how to get there with every session you have with them.

YOGA

Perhaps you aren't into high intensity exercise and you don't want to walk away with your heart beat in the sky. What you can do instead is approach health and fitness from a yoga perspective. Yoga is amazing, not only for you mind but also for your body and your core. It helps give you time for yourself, to think about you, to go in wards, while strengthening the pillar of your whole body, which is your core.

STRENGTH TRAINING

Perhaps none of these kinds of training appeal to you and you are used to working out at the gym and want to find some weights to lift. Strength training is all about lifting those weights; and since group training is in, you can find any of the facilities around you that have strength training as an option within the world of lifting. What's great about this is that when you are lifting in groups, you can build a wonderful motivational squad that you can train with every day to help push you and encourage you to try new lifting techniques that you wouldn't normally experiment with on your own.

CERTIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION

What 2018 is also bringing us is an awareness and understanding of the importance of education and certifications with our coaches and trainers. It's important to know what your coach or trainer has studied, where he has been certified and talk to them a little bit about their understanding of health and fitness. Your body is important and accordingly you should be able to ask questions and to have a better understanding about your coach's knowledge. Don't be shy to ask questions and try to find a facility that places an emphasis on educating their coaches.

The idea is this, if you really want to start training, you'll find the right place for you. The cliche is a cliche for a reason, where there is a will, there is a way. Put your finger on what kind of exercise gets you most excited and start looking around you for the places that offer the types of workouts you are looking for. Whether it is to get your sweat on, find your center and zen mode with yoga or lifting that metal, you'll always find the places that are right for you. Let's break into the new year right with a whole new version of yourself!
