CAIRO – September 30 2017: Hurghada, the prominent Middle Eastern travel destination, has received around 140 thousand tourists from 27 different countries this September.

The tourists arrived to Hurghada's International Airport via 23 different airlines and charter services to spend their vacation on the beaches of the gorgeous Egyptian city, many of whom described it as "Heaven on Earth."

Germans, Ukrainians, Czechs, English and Polish were the most prominent nationalities to visit the city this month. Germans were in the lead, comprising 60 percent of the total number of visitors. Roughly 15 thousand more visitors from Germany visited Hurghada this month than did in

As for other nationalities, more than 13 thousand Ukrainians and slightly less than 10 thousand Britons visited the Red Sea city, respectively.

Occupancy rate increased around 10 percent more than August’s figures. Mohamed Eid, a hotel manager in Hurghada, assured Egypt Today that occupancy levels in most five star hotels reached 100 percent.
