CAIRO - 18 September 2017:

Nob Designs

was established by Ahmed Nabil in 2013. His passion for fashion started when he was in the fourth grade. He used to customize his basic t-shirts by cutting the sleeves and doodling on them. The first thing he ever designed was a prom dress for one of his best friends in high school.

He took many courses in fashion, art direction and styling at the Fashion Studio. He also studied patternmaking and garment construction with one of the Italian fashion academies. His drive to reach ultimate success shows his willingness to learn and study more about fashion in order to develop a style.

Every designer has his or her own touches and favorite tools and fabrics, Nabil’s favorite fabrics are black fishnets and lace.

Designers get are inspired by the smallest things, when it comes to Nabil he is inspired by a significant moment or situation. However, he is usually inspired by the interesting weird phases he goes through all the time.

Of course, designers look up to each other and usually have favorite designers, Nabil’s favorite local designer is Maison Yeya and Peter Dundas and Riccardo Tisci, internationally.

Designing and creating gowns and dresses are an emotional rollercoaster for Nabil as he is still exploring different kinds of styles, and is still in the process of learning; plus he is still trying to figure himself out as a designer.
