Cairo – 25 August 2017: ‘The September Issue’ is a documentary about the legendary editor-in-chief Anna Wintour and her creative director Grace Coddington. The documentary follows them on their journey and the creative process on how they put together the fall issue of the fashion magazine Vogue, traditionally known as the launching pad of fashion houses’ winter collections and the beginning of the new fashion year.

The 90 minute film was one of the biggest Vogue productions.

We also get the chance to see the human side of Anna Wintour and her relationship with Grace Coddington. Even though the fashion film showcases Coddington as being a victim to Wintour's aggressiveness and perfectionist personality. However, Wintour has always appreciated Coddington's work, and extensive artistic keen eye.

The documentary has a happy ending as always Wintour approves Coddington's work.

The film proves that Vogue Magazine is not just a fashion magazine, it is fashion and without it, the fashion industry would fall apart.
