CAIRO - 9 June 2020: The Ministry of Culture will present on its YouTube channel a show for the Russian Folklore Band Igor Musiev organized by the Egyptian Opera House. The show will be broadcast on June 8 at 9 p.m.

Folklore Band Igor Musiev is one of the oldest bands in the world. The band was founded by Igor Musiev, one of the main performers and choreographers of the Bolshoi, in 1936.

The Soviet government asked Musiev to organize the first national folk arts festival, where he succeeded in drawing attention to traditional national dances and then set out with his team to present distinguished performances in more than 65 countries.

It is worth noting that on June 7 the Ministry of Culture broadcast on its YouTube channel the world-famous ballet show Zorba performed by the Cairo Opera Ballet Ensemble accompanied by Coral Acapella and the Cairo Opera Orchestra.

Zorba revolves around two seasons within a village in Greece, and tells the story of the Greek traveler Zorba, who loves life and is loved by women.
