Abdel Dayem: Returning the lights to the opera theaters confirms the desire of the Egyptian society to restore its natural world before the COVID-19 epidemic struck.
Minister of Culture Inas Abdel Dayem revealed the timetable for resuming activity of the ministry's various sectors and resuming cultural, intellectual and artistic activities at all cultural venues during the month of July.
The concerts will be held on a newly constructed stage at the Opera Square, located on a large area in front of the fountain and in its background appears the Opera building.
The Ministry of Culture will present on its YouTube channel a show for the Russian Folklore Band Igor Musiev organized by the Egyptian Opera House. The show will be broadcast on June 8 at 9 p.m.
The ceremony will be held on Jan. 10, 2020 at Cairo Opera House's Grand Theater at 7 p.m.
Iraqi oud master Naseer Shamma is set to perform two concerts in El-Sawy Culture Wheel on Dec. 28, 29. Shamma is scheduled to play a variety of his finest works.
Turandot's opera by renowned Italian musician Giacomo Puccini will stage on October 12 at 7 p.m. at the small theater.
Mahgoub will perform a number of her most popular songs including “Hob Ekhwat” (Siblings love), “Qalby Hora Fe”, among others.
World- famous pianist Moushira Issa will perform with a group of promising talents from different schools and universities.
Wanas musical band, led by their founder Tarek Abbas, is preparing to present their fourth concert on April 11 on the stage of the Arab Music Institute.
