The All Africa Music Awards (AFRIMA) organizing committee has revealed the final nominees for the 15th edition in 2025, highlighting the powerful presence of Egyptian artists in Africa’s music scene and the awards' role in fostering cultural and artistic collaboration across the continent.

 

 

 

• The Legend Amr Diab: Scores four major nominations — Artist of the Year in Africa (the top honor), Best African Pop Artist for his groundbreaking contributions to contemporary Arabic music, Best North African Artist for his hit “Baba”, and Album of the Year for “Ebtadaina”.

 

 

• Superstar Tamer Hosny: Competes in two big categories — Africa’s Favorite Artist for his smash hit “Beauty Queen of the Universe” from his latest album “Leena Maad” and Best Original Soundtrack Song for “El Maqs” from his movie Restart.

 

 

 

• Mohamed Ramadan: Nominated for Best North African Male Artist with his hit “Ana W Enta”.

 

 

 

• Rap Phenomenon Wegz: Nominated for Best North African Male Artist with “El Waad”.

 

 

 

 

• Hamza Namira: Nominated for Best North African Male

Artist with “Shams We Hawa”.

 

 

 

• Sherine Abdel Wahab: Nominated for Best North African Female Artist with her emotional ballad “Betmanna Ansak”.
