CAIRO – 29 July 2021: Qubbat al-Ghoury Creativity Center, affiliated to the Cultural Development Fund Sector and located in Al-Azhar Street, will hold a concert on July 29 at 7:30 p.m. for the National Ensemble for Folk and Performing Arts, affiliated to the Artistic House of Folk and Performing Arts.

The concert comes within the framework of the Cultural Development Fund Sector’s strategy to preserve Egypt's heritage, where the troupe adopts the idea of preserving the Egyptian identity by presenting folkloric dances, including the Nubian, the Falahi, the Saidi and the Sahel dances, among others.

It is noteworthy that the National Folklore Troupe was founded in 1960 and targets rooting all folk dances with their kinetic expressions, clothes, accessories and the customs and traditions they include,  and transferring them to the stage after reformulation.
