Finance Ministry auctions LE 23B T-bills

CAIRO - 12 October 2020: The Finance Ministry auctioned on Monday treasury bills at a total value of LE 23 billion.

In a statement, the ministry said it sold 91-day T-bills worth LE 8 billion with an average yield of 13.212 percent, adding it accepted bids at rates between 13.259 percent and 12.999 percent.

The ministry added that 273-day T-bills worth LE 11 billion were offered, with an average yield of 13.351 percent, noting that it accepted bids at rates between 13.39 percent and 13.25 percent.
 

Also, 7-year T-bills worth LE 4 billion were offered, with an average yield of 14.556 percent, noting that it accepted bids at rates between 14.6 percent and 14.51 percent.
