The Egyptian Electricity Transmission Company has started pouring the concrete bases for some 1,300 transmission towers, which have all been successfully tested, along 300 kilometers in Egypt. The installation of the transmission towers will start in June.

Meanwhile, the concrete casting of the high-voltage substation in Badr City is underway.

The length of the transmission line in Saudi Arabia is more than 1,000 kilometers from Egypt to the high-voltage substation in and another Medina. The installation of the towers has already begun in the Kingdom.

Marine cables in the Gulf of Aqaba will extend over 22 kilometers.
