CAIRO - 31 December 2020: Arab Parliament (AP) Speaker Adel el Assoumi said that the coming Gulf summit, due in Saudi Arabia in January, will be "extraordinary" and "unprecedented" as it will tackle important issues.
Assoumi expressed his trust that the leaders of the Gulf Cooperation Council's member states will save no effort so that the outcome of the summit would be positive.
In a statement on Thursday, Assoumi also lauded the role of Bahraini King Hamad bin Issa Al Khalifa in supporting the joint Gulf work in the different domains via the distinguished contributions and initiatives.
Assoumi asserted the keenness of King Hamad to boost Gulf cooperation at the different bilateral and collective levels.
He asserted the support of the Arab Parliament to anything that boosts the joint Arab work at the different bilateral, regional and collective levels.
