CAIRO - 7 March 2020: Arab Parliament (AP) Speaker Meshaal el Salmi on Saturday affirmed the parliament's support for the Arab League council's resolution that rejected and condemned the Turkish interference in the domestic affairs of the Arab countries.

The move of the Arab foreign ministers towards denouncing the Turkish interference meets the demands of the Arab peoples and reflects a unified Arab stance in face of any Turkish threats and hostile activities, including sending troops and terrorist foreign fighters to Libya, Syria and Iraq along with supporting persons and groups seeking to destabilize Arab countries, the speaker said.

He called on the international community to take a firm action to stop the Turkish interference in the Arab affairs, adding that he is due to notify the unions of regional and Arab parliaments about the AL council resolution in order to garner support for the Arab stance in this regard.
