CAIRO, Jan 5 (MENA) - The Observatory for Monitoring Takfiri Fatwas and Extremist Ideologies at Egypt's Dar al-Ifta hailed the Libyan parliament's rejection of Turkish interference in Libya.

In a statement on Sunday, the observatory called on the international community to support the Libyan parliament in the face of Turkey's dangerous agenda which threatens regional escalation and more conflicts.

The observatory referred to efforts by Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan to dominate Syria and Libya, thus creating a proper climate for terrorism.

The observatory cautioned of Turkey's ambitions in the Arab region while the international community is turning a blind eye to the ongoing conflict in Libya, adding that this could lead to repeating the same scenario of Syria.
