24 dead after train collision in Pakistan

ISLAMABAD - 12 July 2019: The death toll of the collision between a passenger train and a stationary freight train at a railway station in Punjab region, south Pakistan, stands at 24, while more than 90 others were injured, Pakistani officials announced on Friday.

One woman has died of her wounds and bodies of a child and a man were found beneath the rubble earlier today, according to Geo TV.

Pakistani President Arif Alvi expressed his heartfelt grief over the loss of human lives.
