Two people died,16 others were injured in a train collision in Qalyub City, Qalyubia Governorate according to Egypt’s Ministry of health, Tuesday.
The crash took place in Faqus town of Sharkia governorate near a railway crossing.
The body was moved to the mortuary of the Qena General Hospital and the Public Prosecution was informed to proceed with investigations.
The investigations showed that the two trains’ drivers, assistants, and signaling tower employees are involved in the accident.
