CAIRO - 24 February 2019: On the sidelines of Arab-European Summit, King Salman of Saudi Arabia held bilateral meetings with Speaker of the House of Representatives Ali Abdel Aal, and Prime Minister Mostafa Madbouly after he had held talks with President Abdel Fatah al-Sisi on Saturday.

Egypt's president receives Salman of Saudi Arabia

CAIRO - 23 February 2019: Egyptian President Abdel Fatah al Sisi received on Saturday king Salman bin Abdulaziz of Saudi Arabia who arrived in Egypt to participate in the EU-Arab summit held in the resort city of Sharm el-Sheikh.




Those were attended by Minister of Planning, Monitoring, and Administrative Reform Hala al-Said; Director of General Intelligence Directorate Abbas Kamel; and, Egyptian Ambassador to Riyadh Nasser Hamdy.

From the Saudi side, Minister of State and Member of the Cabinet Musaad bin Mohamed al Aiban; Foreign Affairs Minister Ibrahim bin Abdel Aziz al-Assaf; Minister of State and Member of the Cabinet Essam bin Saad bin Said; Minister of Trade and Investment Magued bin Abdalla al-Qasabi; Minister of Media Turki bin Abdalla al-Shabana; Minister of State for African Affairs Ahmed bin Abdel Aziz al-Qatan; and, Saudi Minister to Cairo Osama bin Ahmed Naqly.

The opening session of the Arab-European Summit will kick off in Sharm El Sheikh at 17:00 local time. The two-day conference will cover economic cooperation, and stances on political and security matters, particularly the Palestinian cause, illegal migration, counterterrorism mechanisms, and solutions for the region’s issues.
