CAIRO – 16 May 2017: The 60th meeting of the Council of Arab Ministers of Justice will be held at the headquarters of the General Secretariat of the Arab League in Cairo on May 17, as said in a Tuesday statement.

The meeting includes ministers of justice from Jordan, Saudi Arabia, Iraq, the United Republic of Comoros, Kuwait, Mauritania and Qatar.

According to the statement, ministers will discuss developing and strengthening Arab and international cooperation in judicial and legal fields and a number of issues including fighting against terrorism and its financing as well as issues of human trafficking, narcotics and refugees in Arab countries.

The 59th session of the Executive Office of the Arab Ministers of Justice was held in November 2016 and chaired by Iraq.
