CAIRO – 20 November 2025: Loaded with more than 11,000 tons of humanitarian aid, the 77th convoy of “Zad Al-Izza” moved from the Egyptian side of the Rafah Border crossing to the besieged enclave of Gaza on Thursday, the Egyptian Red Crescent (ERC) announced in a statement.

The convoy trucks carry basic essentials for winter including 47,400 blankets, about 74,250 pieces of warming clothes, and more than 9,300 shelter tents, the ERC added.

The convoy was loaded with  11,800 tons of urgent humanitarian aid, including 7,450 tons of food and flour, more than 3,000 tons of medical relief, and over 1,350 tons of petroleum products, the ERC said.

The Egyptian Red Crescent launched the first “Zad Al-Izza” convoy on July 27, transporting thousands of tons of diverse aid, including food supply chains, flour, infant formula, medical supplies, pharmaceuticals, personal care items, and fuel.

The organization has maintained its presence at the border from the outset of the crisis, operating as the national coordination mechanism for aid entry into Gaza. The Rafah crossing has not been closed from the Egyptian side, and readiness has been maintained across all logistics centers to ensure uninterrupted delivery of aid.

According to the Egyptian Red Crescent, more than half a million tons of humanitarian relief have been delivered to Gaza since the beginning of the crisis. This was made possible by the efforts of 35,000 volunteers working around the clock to facilitate logistics and humanitarian operations.
