The Egyptian Red Crescent (ERC) dispatched its 230th humanitarian land convoy, codenamed "Zad Al-Izza," delivering thousands of tons of comprehensive emergency relief directly to the Gaza Strip.
The convoy transported around 4,991 tons of aid, including food parcels, flour, medical supplies, relief materials and fuel for hospitals and other vital facilities in Gaza.
The Egyptian Red Crescent launched the "Zad Al-Izza" Convoy No. 223—on Monday, dispatching a fleet of trucks to the Gaza Strip as part of its role as the national mechanism for coordinating humanitarian aid to the territory.
The convoy carried donated meat, food baskets, flour, medical supplies, relief materials, and fuel products intended to support hospitals and other vital facilities in Gaza.
The 210th humanitarian and relief aid convoy departed from the Rafah Border Crossing and headed toward the Kerem Abu Salem Crossing, located at the southeastern edge of the Gaza Strip, according to sources in North Sinai governorate.
Israel has maintained a naval blockade on Gaza since 2007 and tightened restrictions after 7 October 2023.
The trucks of the 195th “Zad Al-Izzah: From Egypt to Gaza” convoy are delivering food baskets, flour, medical supplies, relief materials and fuel needed to operate hospitals and vital facilities in the enclave.

The 180th aid convoy of “Zad Al-Ezza… From Egypt to Gaza” started entering the Gaza Strip via Rafah crossing, heading toward the Karam Abu Salem Crossing, in preparation for delivery into the enclave.

The convoy carries urgent humanitarian aid as part of Egypt’s continuous efforts to coordinate and deliver relief to the Gaza Strip.
The convoy included around 2,185 tons of food baskets and flour, over 1,355 tons of medical materials and relief supplies, and more than 1,405 tons of petroleum products to support hospitals and vital facilities in Gaza.
Abdelatty stressed the importance of maintaining focus on implementing all provisions of the second phase of the US-proposed plan, including ensuring the uninterrupted flow of humanitarian aid, in preparation for early recovery and reconstruction.
In a statement, the ERC said the convoy delivered 3,290 tons of aid to Gaza, including 1,180 tons of food baskets, 650 tons of relief materials, and 1,460 tons of petroleum products to support hospitals and other vital facilities in the strip.
The shipment, which arrived at the Port of Beirut, includes food baskets, medicines, medical supplies, and relief items aimed at meeting the basic needs of more than one million displaced Lebanese citizens affected by the ongoing displacement crisis. The aid was delivered in cooperation with Tahya Misr Fund, the Ministry of Social Solidarity, the Ministry of Health, and the Egyptian Zakat and Charity House.
