Cairo University President Abdel-Sadek meets Justice El-Ghaiesh at the High Court of Justice in Cairo.
CAIRO - 3 SEPTEMBER 2025: Cairo University President Dr. Mohamed Sami Abdel-Sadek paid a courtesy visit to Justice Assem El-Ghaiesh, President of the Court of Cassation and Head of the Supreme Judicial Council, at his office in the High Court of Justice to extend congratulations on his recent appointment to the country’s highest judicial post.
The meeting was attended by Justice Mohamed Abdel-Aal, First Deputy President of the Court of Cassation and member of the Supreme Judicial Council; Justice Abed Rashed, Second Deputy President and Council member; Justice Mohamed Hassan Abdel-Latif, Vice President of the Court and Head of International Relations; Justice Khaled Farouk, Vice President of the Court and Media and Political Advisor to the Head of the Council; and Dr. Ragab Tagn, Legal Advisor to the Supreme Council of Universities and to the Cairo University President.
During the meeting, Dr. Abdel-Sadek praised the pivotal role of the Court of Cassation in upholding the principles of justice and the rule of law. He reaffirmed Cairo University’s pride in its longstanding partnership with national institutions and its commitment to contributing to the justice system through academic expertise, research, and specialized training programs.
The visit also witnessed the signing of a cooperation protocol between Cairo University and the Court of Cassation aimed at strengthening academic and cultural exchanges, and organizing joint conferences, seminars, and workshops to support Egypt’s sustainable development efforts.
Justice El-Ghaiesh, for his part, expressed appreciation for the visit, commending Cairo University’s historic role in advancing education, supporting scientific research, and serving society in ways that bolster national development.
The meeting concluded with an exchange of commemorative shields, reflecting mutual appreciation and a shared commitment to deepening cooperation between the two institutions.
