CAIRO – 25 July 2025: The Gaza hospitals recorded 9 new deaths due to famine and malnutrition in the past 24 hours, bringing the death toll of the Israeli deliberate starvation war against the Palestinians to 122, including 83 children, announced the Palestinian Health Ministry in the besieged Strip.
The media office of Gaza Government said in a statement, on Thursday, he Israeli occupation commits a systematic starvation crime against more than 2.4 million people besieged and starving in the Gaza Strip for 145 days,
“We demand an immediate end to the famine, the immediate opening of all crossings, the entry of baby formula, and the entry of 500 aid trucks and 50 fuel trucks daily. Perhaps we can salvage what can be saved from this humanitarian catastrophe perpetrated by the occupation live on air, in audio and video,” the statement added.
It called for forming an international commission to investigate the systematic starvation crime. “We also demand the arrest of Israeli war criminals—leaders, officers, and soldiers—in all countries of the world and their prosecution before fair international trials,” the statement continued.
Th government also called "on Arab and Islamic countries and all “free nations” to stand defiant against the occupation, break the siege on the Gaza Strip, and impose safe humanitarian corridors.
“We hold the "Israeli" occupation, the US administration, and countries involved in genocide, such as Britain, Germany, and France, as well as the international community, fully responsible for this historic crime. We call on free peoples to take urgent action to stop the catastrophe,” the statement said.
In a separate statement, Gaza Ministry of Health announced, on Thursday, the death toll from the Israeli aggression has risen to 59,676 and the number of wounded has reached 143,965 since the beginning of the aggression on October 7, 2023.
Also, the total number of people killed at the Israeli-US-run aid centers in the besieged enclave has risen to 1,092, with more than 7,320 wounded.
Meanwhile, the number of martyred journalists has risen to 232 after killing journalist Adam Abu Harbid, on Thursday.
