CAIRO – 19 July 2025: Egyptian occupation forces killed 98 Palestinian martyrs and injured 511 others in the past 48 hours, said the Palestinian Ministry of Health in Gaza in a statement on Saturday.

The death toll from the Israeli aggression has risen to 58,765 martyrs and 140,485 wounded since October 7, the statement added.

The total number of martyrs and injuries from March 18, 2025,- when Israeli resumed the war after a short truce- until today, rose to 7,938 martyrs and 28,444 injuries.

The Ministry said in a separate statement that unprecedented numbers of starving people of all ages are arriving at emergency departments in a state of severe exhaustion and fatigue. “We warn that hundreds whose bodies have wasted away will face certain death due to hunger and their bodies' endurance capacity being exceeded,” the statement added.

The Ministry also warned that a catastrophic famine and bloody massacres near US aid centers (aka death traps) threaten the lives of thousands of citizens in the Gaza Strip.

Meanwhile, Hamas has called for Sunday, July 20, and the days that follow to be marked as significant global days of action and international solidarity.

The movement urged all free people and movements around the world to participate in exposing and condemning what it described as Zionist crimes of genocide and starvation against innocent civilians in the Gaza Strip, including children, women, and the sick.
