CAIRO – 12 March 2025: Minister of Foreign Affairs and Immigration Badr Abdelatty met Wednesday in Doha his Saudi, Jordanian and Qatari counterparts, as well as the UAE minister of state for foreign affairs and the secretary of the executive committee of the Palestinian Liberation Organization (PLO) in order to coordinate on Gaza crisis.
The meeting focused on the outcomes of the Extraordinary Arab Summit on Gaza, where the Egyptian plan on reconstruction was endorsed, and of the extraordinary meeting of the foreign ministers of member states of the Islamic Cooperation Organization (ICO) on supporting the Palestinian people.
The discussions tackled mobilizing funding for the plan in light of Egypt's hosting of an international conference on Gaza reconstruction in partnership with the United Nations and the Palestinian government next month.
