Egypt witnesses drop in temperature; Cairo records highs of 33 °C

CAIRO – 2 June 2021: Egypt witnesses a drop in temperature on Wednesday, with Cairo recording highs of 33 degrees Celsius.

A hot weather prevails in Greater Cairo, Lower Egypt and northern Upper Egypt, while a moderate weather is felt in the northern coasts. Scorching heat and high temperature degrees are seen in South Sinai and Southern Upper Egypt.  

While for the expected temperature degrees on Thursday:

Cairo will record highs of 33 °C and lows of 20°C

Alexandria record highs of 27 °C and lows of 19°C

Matrouh record highs of 25 °C and lows of 18°C

Sohag record highs of 37 °C and lows of 24°C

Qena record highs of 40 °C and lows of 26°C

Aswan record highs of 44 °C and lows of 29°C
