Electoral silence
The first phase includes 14 Egyptian governorates: Giza, Fayoum, Beni Suef, Minya, Assiut, New Valley, Sohag, Qena, Luxor, Aswan, Red Sea, Alexandria, Beheira, and Matrouh.
Egypt’s National Election Authority (NEA) has urged Egyptians to exercise their right to vote in the upcoming 2024 Presidential Elections scheduled for 10-12 December.
The second phase includes 13 governorates: Cairo, Qalyubia, Menoufia, Dakahlia, Gharbia, Kafr El Sheikh, Sharkia, Damietta, Port Said, Ismailia, Suez, North Sinai, and South Sinai.
According to the elections schedule, the candidates’ campaigns ends, October 18.
