Sotheby's International Auction House, in London, sold a statue of the late Egyptian sculptor Mahmoud Mukhtar, titled “Ibn el-Balad” {Son of the Country}, in an auction entitled "20th Century Art / Middle East".
On December 10, Egypt’s Ministry of Culture will organize an exhibition of caricature portraiture, at 6 p.m., at the Renaissance Hall of Egypt at Mahmoud Mukhtar Museum, which includes a group of cartoonists from different countries of the world.
