The Sudanese Armed Forces denied on Wednesday allegations circulated on some websites regarding Egypt’s detention of a cargo ship that was heading to Sudan.

Egypt’s Embassy in Khartoum asked Egyptian expats in Sudan on Saturday to exercise maximum caution, stay away from areas of tension, reduce unnecessary movements, and stay at home until the situation stabilizes, the Egyptian Ministry of Foreign Affairs said in a statement.

This took place when Ethiopian militia forces entered Sudanese territories and attacked agricultural projects in Barakat Norein and Al-Forsan village on the Sudanese-Ethiopian border, state news agency SUNA reported Thursday.
