The joint drills took place in the border guard fields training complex within the joint plan to back horizons of military cooperation between the armed forces of the two sisterly countries, the Egyptian Military Spokesman said in a statement on Friday.
“This comes in continuation of the Border Guards forces in facing smugglers and criminal elements and foiling plans and attempts that aim to threaten the stability of the society and harm the Egyptian national security,” a statement by the military spokesman read on Thursday.
