President Abdel Fatah al-Sisi delivered Tuesday a speech at the opening of the third edition of Aswan Forum for Sustainable Peace and Development.
The second edition of Aswan Forum for Sustainable Peace and Development kicked off Monday virtually. The forum is is organized by Cairo International Center for Conflict Resolution, Peacebuilding and Peacekeeping.
The Aswan Forum will be held annually to discuss all important African issues.
Assoumani said that the AfCFTA would contribute to meeting the aspirations of the African peoples toward progress and prosperity, and would help improve investment and two-way trade.
Maya Morsy, head of the National Council for Women (NCW), on Thursday hailed the current role played by the Egyptian women as they have assumed decision making positions and participated in the political scene.
Sisi said millions of Egyptian women took to streets during the June 30 revolution to protect the Egyptian identity.
the minister also added that the forum will witness a huge number of youth from all the African countries.
Sisi said that Russia has supported the liberation movements across Africa financially, logistically and morally.
