Lebanese President
Egypt’s President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi received Lebanese President Joseph Aoun on Monday, to discuss strengthening relations between the two brotherly countries and consult on ways to restore regional stability.
Lebanese President Joseph Aoun arrived in Cairo on Monday for a one-day visit per an invitation from Egypt’s President Abdel Fattah al Sisi.
President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi and his Lebanese counterpart, Joseph Aoun, met on the sidelines of the extraordinary Arab summit held in the New Administrative Capital.
Abdelatty emphasized the need for intensive efforts alongside all active national parties to achieve a national consensus—one that is wholly Lebanese—to end the presidential vacancy without external interference.
Aoun stressed the necessity of taking measures needed to uncover the circumstances of the terrorist attack that targeted Tripoli.
