Egypt’s Pyramids hope to rally local support for Sunday’s African Champions League final as they face the possibility of hosting the second leg in a near-empty stadium in Cairo against South Africa’s Mamelodi Sundowns.
A last-gasp own goal gave Mamelodi Sundowns of South Africa an upset result over holders Al Ahly on Friday and a place against another Egyptian club, Pyramids, in next month’s African Champions League final.
Mngqithi believes that his team has everything needed to overturn their loss against Al Ahly in the first leg of the CAF Champions League quarter-finals.
The two teams will face off on Saturday night at Al Ahly stadium in El Salam City in the first leg of the quarter-finals.

Al-Ahly reached the quarter finals after the team topped group D with 10 points.
