“On Martyrs' Day, we renew our pledge and loyalty to the memory of our heroes, who sacrificed their pure souls to ensure that Egypt remains steadfast, secure, and stable. These men upheld their oath by sacrificing all that was precious, offering their lives in the service of their country and therefore becoming eternal in the nation's memory,” President Sisi said.
The date is March 9, 1969.
President Abdel Fatah al-Sisi attended on Sunday the celebration held by the Egyptian Armed Forces.
