Egypt’s Population
Egypt’s population is expected to reach 108 million on August 18, 2025 according to Major General Khairat Barakat, head of the Central Agency for Public Mobilization and Statistics (CAPMAS).
Advisor to the Head of the Central Agency for Public Mobilization and Statistics, Hussein Abdel Aziz, Said Tuesday that the birth rates in Egypt during the past three years amounted to about 2.2 million births annually, ‘which shapes nearly the population of a small country.’
Egypt recorded the lowest death rates this year compared to past years.
