Unknown Soldier Memorial
Many do not know the details of the memorial, although 44 years have passed since it was established in 1975.
On October 6, 1973 at 2 p.m. (Cairo time) the Egyptian forces launched the six-day war against the Israeli troops.
Egyptian President Abdel Fatah al-Sisi laid a wreath of roses on the Memorial to the Unknown Soldier in Nasr City, east of Cairo, Sunday in celebration of Sinai Liberation Day
