Ahmed El-Sayed Al-Naggar
Ahmed el-Sayed al-Naggar, Egyptian economist and former chairman of the state-owned Al-Ahram newspaper, has been summoned for an internal investigation by Al-Ahram’s board of directors on Tuesday over alleged insults to the organization.
Head of the National Press Authority (NPA) Karam Gabr has decided to appoint Hisham Lotfi as acting chairman of Al-Ahram following Naggar’s resignation.
