Draft Resolution
A Security Council draft resolution is expected to be voted on later Wednesday, reportedly condemning Iran’s missile and drone attacks on several neighbouring countries, which come in response to the ongoing US-Israeli attacks on Iranian cities since February 28.
The draft resolution was adopted with 112 votes in favor and no one against, while nine abstained
Zaki added that another draft resolution on the foreign ministers' table will be discussed regarding support for the upcoming climate summit (Cop27) in Egypt.
U.S. President Trump’s threat to cut off financial aid did not stop Egypt from defending the right of Palestinians to have Jerusalem as Palestine’s capital.
