In recent weeks, Hamas has handed over Israeli captives to the Red Cross amid crowds of Palestinians, including women and children who have been devastated by the war, losing their families, loved ones, homes, and essential services over the past 16 months.
An Israeli official, speaking on condition of anonymity, stated that Netanyahu will hold a security consultation this evening.
The captives are Eli Sharabi, Ohad Ben Ami, and Or Levy.
The news channel reported that a total of 70 Palestinian prisoners, who were serving life sentences in Israeli prisons, will be transferred to Egypt before being exiled abroad, in accordance with the ceasefire agreement in the prisoner swap between Hamas and Israel.
The foreign ministry confirmed that the first phase will last for 42 days and is scheduled to begin on Sunday at 8:30 AM.
Israeli authorities issued 24 administrative detention orders against Palestinian prisoners from October 25 to 31.
