The Palestinian National Liberation Movement (Fatah) concluded its eighth General Conference on Monday. The conference was held simultaneously in Ramallah, Gaza, Cairo, and Beirut under the slogan, “A Renewed Beginning: Steadfastness, Freedom, and Independence,” coinciding with the 78th anniversary of the Nakba.
Members of the Eighth General Conference of the Fatah Movement unanimously elected Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas (Abu Mazen) as Chairman of the Fatah Movement on Thursday.
Vice President Mike Pence announced Wednesday that he will visit Egypt in late December, according to the Associated Press (AP).
