The Iraqi authorities said that they had found a Picasso painting worth millions of dollars during a raid on a drug den.
The Director General of Therapeutic Programs at the Fund for Combating and Treating Addiction and Abuse added, in a TV show, that the rate of drug abuse in Egypt decreased to 5.9 percent, after it reached 10 percent in 2015.
The police arrested 52 drug dealers in 13 governorates, namely Cairo, Menoufia, Matrouh, Beheira, Qalyubia, Ismailia, Alexandria, Suez, Dakahlia, Port Said, Minya, Qena, and Sharkia.
Ten police personnel were imprisoned for four days per investigations on Friday, April 13 for leaking classified information about the police to drug dealers.
Officers of Alexandria security directorate's drugs control department managed to arrest two drug dealers and seize 10,000 narcotic pills.
