Iranian Drones
Bahrain had earlier accused Iran of launching a number of drones at the Gulf kingdom, saying the attacks constituted a blatant violation of its sovereignty, a serious threat to the security of citizens and residents, and a flagrant breach of international norms and conventions that prohibit targeting civilian objects and terrorizing civilians.
The incident strains the fragile US-Iran ceasefire that has largely curbed hostilities started by the US and Israel against the Persian nation on February 28.
The attack caused “severe material damage” at T1 terminal, the army spokesman added.
