Irregular Migrants
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs said it is closely monitoring the incident, which involved 50 irregular migrants, including 21 Egyptians, three of whom have died and 18 remain missing.
The bodies were handed over to their families, the Egyptian Embassy in Athens said in a statement.
The first boat was carrying 26 Bangladeshi migrants, four of whom died, while the second boat held 69 migrants, at least the majority of whom are believed to be Sudanese, including eight children.
