Four dead after two migrant vessels overturn off Libya’s coast

TRIPOLI – 15 November 2025: Two boats carrying irregular migrants capsized off the coast of Libya’s Al-Khums city late Thursday, leaving four people dead, the Libyan Red Crescent reported today.

The first boat was carrying 26 Bangladeshi migrants, four of whom died, while the second boat held 69 African migrants, including eight children.

The recovered bodies were handed over to the relevant authorities to complete the required legal procedures.
